A certain figure commented that this was not a background. I disagree!  If you see the original you can clearly see that the ground on which he stands is dark sand and that it is blowing in the wind.
I want to start a poll here to find out who thinks this is a background and who thinks not. He actually wrote this is not better than having nothing at all!

Erm...personally...I didn't think it was sand...I just thought it was shadow...I just thought you made the background black and the part around the murcky white to make it seem more 3D

That was the idea yes, and therefore I made the background, and because it would be empty if it wasn't there, but then I thought this would be better, so i made a little change and it worked out fairly well, but you can not see it on the scanned version.

If it's true what you're saying about the original it's lost in yours. Sorry but that's just how I think about it. I realy like the Murlock, I realy do.
I wrote that if that's a background the other drawings have one too but in a diffirent colour.

I understand, but still I think this counts as a background and it does not equal (in a different colour) the drawings with the blank spaces.

Anyways. Every drawing does have a background, just most of them are white. When you dont colour the background you still call it a background.
